A pre-implementation survey distributed via email invited 77 resident physicians (43% response rate from 179 eligible participants) in the University of Colorado Internal Medicine Residency Program to provide feedback on interprofessional team involvement, the optimal timing of such involvement, and the most suitable structure for bedside IDR. The design of the bedside IDR structure was shaped by feedback from residents, attending physicians, patients, nurses, care coordinators, pharmacists, social workers, and rehabilitation specialists. Implementation of the rounding structure occurred on the acute care wards of a large academic regional VA hospital in Aurora, Colorado, during June 2019. In our model, we examined the influence of cortisol reactivity in infancy, and the direct and interactive impact of early life adversities and parenting behaviors (sensitivity and harshness), from infancy to early school age, on adolescent cortisol reactivity patterns. Recruited at birth and oversampled for prenatal substance exposure, 216 families (comprising 51% female children and 116 cocaine-exposed) were assessed across the spectrum from infancy to early adolescence. Black participants formed a significant portion of the study group; 72% of mothers and 572% of adolescents self-reported as such. The caregivers were predominantly from low-income families (76%), were mostly single (86%), and held high school degrees or lower (70%) at recruitment. According to latent profile analyses, cortisol reactivity was observed in three distinct patterns, namely elevated (204%), moderate (631%), and blunted (165%). Prenatal tobacco exposure was demonstrated to be a factor in a higher probability of classification in the elevated reactivity group relative to individuals in the moderate reactivity group. Utilizing the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys from 1999 to 2020, we sought to understand the incidence of anemia in the United States, as well as variations in anemia prevalence across gender, age, racial groups, and household income relative to the poverty threshold. Analyzing data from 356 U.S. women (aged 25-35) gathered via CloudResearch's MTurk platform, we investigated the factor structure and reliability of this uIRMA measure in community samples of adult women. The five-factor structure (She Asked For It, He Didn't Mean To, He Didn't Mean To [Intoxication], It Wasn't Really Rape, She Lied subscales) was strongly supported by confirmatory factor analysis, which also showed high internal reliability for the overall scale (r = .92) and a good model fit. Within the sampled population, the rape myth, “He Didn't Mean To,” received the most approval, significantly differing from the “It Wasn't Really Rape” myth, which was least endorsed. Correlation analysis of RMA results and participant characteristics suggested that individuals who self-identified as politically conservative, religious (predominantly Christian), or heterosexual showed a significantly higher frequency of endorsing rape myth constructs. The factors of education level, social media engagement, and prior victimization experiences produced varied outcomes across the different RMA subscales, but age, racial/ethnic background, income, and geographic location demonstrated no relationship with RMA. The sampling design employed stratified techniques, categorizing participants by both STEM vs. non-STEM major status and the presence of a male-dominated or gender-balanced major structure.
